Ayesha Majavie, one of our most beautiful and charismatic children, is now in grade 3 and is always surrounded by a whole ‘gang’ of friends. Her smile and energising personality draws people to her and she is often the light in everyone’s day. Ayesha is bound to her wheelchair and because of upgrades to her school her classrooms have recently moved from the lovely wheelchair accessible building which we built 3 years ago, to the prefabs outside. As a result her teachers were picking her up and carrying her into the classroom, which was becoming quite a dangerous task.
Once again Keystone Projects in Plettenberg Bay did not hesitate to assist us and during the April holiday, while all the teachers were enjoying their well-deserved rest, the Keystone Project team were hard at work. Now, all of Ayesha’s classrooms are ramped and ready for her to use whether she is in her wheelchair or walking with her crutches. We love happy stories and we love seeing the smile on her face every day.
Ayesha on the Power Plate machine which she loves and is so beneficial for her.
My heart just skipped a beat! Thoughtful people can change a world.
