Facilitation of Medical Procedures and Aftercare
It has been a very busy end of the year as far as medical procedures goes, with many of our children going for big operations. Christiano Luiters had to have a tracheostomy done when he was very little because his jaw was not correctly aligned resulting in him being unable to breathe probably. He has had small operations to slowly try and regain the correct alignment but on the 27th

Since July Sabrina Love has 7 new children from Kwanokuthula, Wittedrift and the Crags. Ava is an 11 month old little girl with a congenital heart condition, Elethu is a 9 month old little boy who had a tracheostomy done, Endinako is a 9 month old little girl who was born with a cleft palate and has had one corrective surgery already. Andrew Lowndes was a great ambassador for us in Beijing!
Andrew Lowndes competed in the ITU Triathlon World Championships in Beijing on the 11th of September 2011. He did us proud by competing wearing the Sabrina Love Foundation logo on his trisuit. He did an Aquathon, which entails a 5km run, 1km swim, and ending with a 5km run. Andrew came 4th in the 20 – 24 age group. He also completed in an Olympic Distance Triathlon, 1.5km swim, 40km
Family Spring Day
On Friday the 16th of September, Oom Pop, Bafana and Ayanda did an amazing job at transporting 100 parents and children from Sabrina Love Foundation and Die Sterreweg got together for a family spring day celebration. Footsteps Pre-Primary School kindly allowed us to use their amazing facilities for the afternoon. The children spent the afternoon on swings,slides and riding around on little tricycles. I would like to thank all and everyone for the Casual Day celebrations which were so beautiful and meaningful.
