“Heritage Day is a South African public holiday celebrated on 24 September. On this day, South Africans across the spectrum are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all its people and includes the whole nation. Today, diversity of both our special children and our wonderful country was celebrated at Die Sterreweg Day Care Centre with both staff and children dressing in traditional wear.
Our beautiful kids and staff bubbled with excitement celebrating with music and food to cultural outfits and most importantly singing and dancing (this is a must at our centre) which provided a platform for our kids to express and explore who they are.
