This has been a wonderfully busy week. Our teachers and field workers, together with Heidi, our occupational therapist, have been putting together exciting activity packs. Seeing the results of what our children and their parents have come up with has been so exciting.

Our theme this week was emotions. Children were asked to find images of people showing different emotions in a magazine. The images could be cut or torn out and pasted onto a sheet of paper.
Ideas were given of how to grade this to different levels, depending on the goals for the child. Parents were encouraged to focus on how the children are currently feeling and to explain and discuss the various emotions that the children are feeling.

We have had some wonderful teaching moments on “The twinkle Class Group” (ages 2 – 5 years) where parents posted videos of their kids showing emotions.
It is always so wonderful to be able to share and discuss different interpretations with parents.
So many beautiful photographs and videos were proudly shared of their children doing various activities with their activity packs.
