The magical garden is an inclusive playground which provides a platform for children of all abilities to experience meaningful play. Play is the primary occupation of each child and an inclusive playground will facilitate this essential occupation
We celebrated the opening of our magical garden on 22 April 2014.What a beautiful day!
The weather was lovely and even some bit of rain could not stop the beautiful and live spirit within all of us on that day. We can speak about the magical garden as much as we like to and we can read about it as much as we want to but The Magical Garden is something the individual needs to experience. The name magical garden is there for a reason because it goes beyond your imagination. Children with disabilities deserve a safe and beautiful playground where they can develop skills and play without the usual environmental limitations.
Our hope is that the ‘Love’ permeating throughout Die Sterreweg has found expression too, in the interactive-play timber features that has been created in the Magical Garden.
Amongst others, in ‘seeing & feeling’ the Magical Tree of Life / Love, and ‘hearing’ the chimes in ‘The Wall of Sound’ – and of course, all the play to be had on the obstacle course and wonderful Jungle Gyms (originally Sabrina & Gabriella’s, imported / transported’ from the Lubners’ home garden).
Actually, one can see and feel love emanating from every plant and blade of grass in the entire garden!
We imagine and hope that everyone who spends time in the magical Garden – and those who venture into the Magical Tree of Love – will experience and share in the abundant Love that is Everywhere to be found there.”
