Over the last 4 years in a joint collaboration with Stellenbosch University and Artevelde University, a model of Excellence has been successfully implemented at the therapy centre of Sterreweg. Visiting Belgium students have participated physically and via zoom in workshops, visits to various institutions, businesses and local schools gathering information and creating the platform for a practical, professional, internationally recognised model that can be replicated throughout South Africa.
Following this wonderful journey, the “Aim for Die Sterreweg” project celebrated its graduation on Casual Day* this past Friday. Mr Tomas Legrand, rector of Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, virtually awarded our Sabrina Love Foundation founder and Sabrina’s father, Tony Lubner, the accolade of “Centre of Excellence” via a Zoom meeting attended by many of the role players involved in this 4 year project.
It is a wonderful feeling and sense of responsibility that the Sabrina Love Foundation gratefully accepts this award.
