This week has been a little unsettling in our beautiful town, but in the darkness there is always light. Our light has been these 2 wonderful volunteers that have been part of our Sabrina Family for the past 8 weeks.
Anne-Sophie De Caesemaeker and Marie Charles, both speech therapy students from the Artevelde University in Gent, Belgium, came to South Africa to do their internship at Die Sterreweg. They are the very first speech therapy students to do an internship at the centre and have really made an exceptional contribution not only through the funds they have raised but through the quality of therapy they have provided for the kids and just their amazing loving hearts toward everyone at the centre.
Before embarking on their venture to South Africa, these wonderful girls raised funds and purchased a projector, white screen, laminating machine and therapy resources for Die Sterreweg.
They were so proactive and worked so diligentl
Anne-Sophie’s parents joined her in celebrating her 21st birthday here in South Africa. They also visited our centre to see what their dynamic daughter was doing and also volunteered at the centre and assisted in the kitchen.
“These two girls definitely made their way into all our hearts and made an amazing impact within our centre as a whole. We are going to miss them very much and at the same time value the insight and lessons that we learned from them. We wish them everything of the very best. ” Tasha-Leigh Williams Occupational Therapist (and all round amazing person) – Die Sterreweg

Proud of our students.
Thank you, staff of Die Sterreweg and Sabrina Love Foundation, for giving the students this unique opportunity.
