The past few weeks have opened a new chapter in all of our lives regardless of who and where we are. The emergence of the Covid-19 virus has touched us all in some one way or another. Whether it has been in needing help or being able to offer assistance to those in need.
Thanks to the wonderful response last week from some amazing private donations we were able to successfully reach 111 families and their disabled children that are supported by the Sabrina Love Foundation. Each of them were visited at their home, supplying basic necessities of a superfoods nutritional mix, masks, nappies, hand sanitizers and soap.
During the visits, our social workers also checked in on how they were all doing and have been providing instruction to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 infection. In this regard the washing of hands and wearing of masks whilst staying at home has been stressed to all of our families.

We provided each family with data and airtime. We are now able to send daily activities, update families with important Covid-19 information and make sure we remain connected as a special family. General physical therapy and care stimulation for the children, with activities, is communicated to parents regularly and also allows our families to reach out to us should they need to.
We have a secured supply of food for another three to four weeks and will continue to deliver food and social services weekly to our families through this troubled time.
Our Sabrina bus and the team were met with smiles and open arms, with a new awareness of no touching to be learnt by all. Nel, our wonderful driver, his assistant Linda, and social workers Amanda and Tamarin connected with our families well into the evening and are on the front line in the townships handing out our food and care packs. We are extremely grateful to them for their never ending devotion and care.
